Silk Road nominated for 7 Da Vinci Awards
Good news for our film SILK ROAD! The telefilm is nominated for seven Da Vinci Awards at the prestigious Milano International Film Festival that will take place from May 10th until June 14th.
The film is nominated for the following awards and categories:
- Best Directing for Mark de Cloe
- Best Screenwriting for Marc Linssen & Roeland Linssen
- Best Acting Performance Male for Gijs Blom
- Best Acting Performance Female for Olivia Lonsdale
- Best Cinematography for Rob Hodselmans
- Best Music for David van der Heijden
- Best Film
The awards ceremony will take place on the 4th of May.
The film SILK ROAD is about a 20-year-old girl who finds herself on the road of becoming a successful drug dealer on Silk Road through her charismatic neighbour. Along the way she gets caught up in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game played by police, criminals, and business partners. How far will she go? Who can she trust – and who is using who?
The film was realized with the support of CoBO fund and KRO-NCRV.
Last year Rinkel Film already won four awards at this festival, for the film ACCUSED.
