Olivia Lonsdale wins Da Vinci Award for her role in Silk Road

The word is out: actress Olivia Lonsdale has won a Da Vinci Award at he prestigious Milano International Film, which will take place from May 10th until June 14th.

Olivia Lonsdale, known for her roles in PRINCE, NO KINGS IN OUR BLOOD and MONK has won a Da Vinci Award for Best Female Performance. SILK ROAD will be screened in Milan on the 10th of May in the presence of Olivia and screenwriters Marc Linssen & Roeland Linssen.

The film SILK ROAD is about a 20-year-old girl who finds herself on the road of becoming a successful drug dealer on Silk Road through her charismatic neighbour. Along the way she gets caught up in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game played by police, criminals, and business partners. How far will she go? Who can she trust – and who is using who?
