Hidden In The Spotlight selected for the Golden Calf competition 2020!

Yesterday the Dutch Film Festival published the selection for the Golden Calf competition 2020. We are proud to say that our feature film “Hidden In The Spotlight” directed by Jelle Nesna and written by Karen van Holst Pellekaan is selected for the Golden Calf competition!

The nominations for the Golden Calf will be announced on Monday September 28th!

“Buiten Is Het Feest” in Dutch, is a drama film inspired by a novel of Arthur Japin. It tells the story of the successful singer Sonne who takes in her niece after the unexpected death of her sister. Then the biological father claims custody. In order to protect her niece, Sonne is forced to break the silence and reveal all the details of her personal family drama in court; a drama in which this man played a highly questionable role. The main cast contains out of Abbey Hoes, Georgina Verbaan, Eelco Smits, Pleun Nijhuis, and Roosmarijn van der Hoek.
