A young Dutch woman has become a vagabond by choice, traveling the world without any possessions until she finds the solitude she is looking for in the austere landscape of Irish Connemara. Martin is a middle-aged man living in a secluded house and working the land. He proposes that she works for him in exchange for food. She agrees, but on one condition: they will not discuss anything personal. But will they be able to stick to the deal?
