Maart Rees
Maart Rees, still a HKU film student, debuted before graduating with their films Ik dacht dat ik je kende (2023) en Walk Me Home (2024) at the Queer Film Festival Utrecht which played at other festivals as well. Their enthusiastic passion as a storyteller is also visible outside the film world: Maart is also a poet who often recites at events. With their dramaturgy internship at Rinkel Film they hope to broaden their horizon inside the film landscape while working on the raw and intimate stories that Rinkel Film has to offer.
