Seasonal workers

An unsuccessful photographer from the Polish countryside leaves for The Netherlands for seasonal work. She wants to earn money for the treatment of her sick mother. When confronted with exploitation and injustice, she gradually changes from an obedient worker to a cruel overseer, leading to a fateful outcome. Through the love of the rebellious daughter of her employer, she regains her humanity.
