SILK ROAD nominated for Prix Europa

The film SILK ROAD is nominated for a Prix Europa. The news was announced by the festivalboard today.

Prix Europa is a festival focussing on broadcasting trends in Europe. SILK ROAD is nominated in the category ‘TV Fiction’. Among the nominees are productions of 17 different countries. This year’s festival will take place from October 14 till October 20 in Berlin.

The film SILK ROAD is about a 20-year-old girl who finds herself on the road of becoming a successful drug dealer on Silk Road through her charismatic neighbour. Along the way she gets caught up in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game played by police, criminals, and business partners. How far will she go? Who can she trust – and who is using who?
